Delete your Dropgaurd account

You can request permanent deletion of your Dropgaurd account and associated personal data from within the app or by using the process below.

What will be deleted

  • Your Dropgaurd account profile.
  • Saved vehicle details linked to the account.
  • Charge-zone visit records and reminders linked to the account.
  • Notification identifiers and account preferences.
  • Other personal data associated with normal use of the service.

Limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, accounting, fraud prevention, security or resolving disputes. Backup data may remain until normal backup cycles complete.

Deleting the app is not enough. Uninstalling Dropgaurd from your phone does not automatically delete your account or cloud data.

Submit a deletion request

This form prepares an email to our privacy team. Send it from the email address connected to your Dropgaurd account where possible.

Your email app will open with a prepared message addressed to SUPPORT_EMAIL_PLACEHOLDER. We may ask for limited information to verify account ownership.

Alternative in-app process

Where available in your version of Dropgaurd, open Profile or Settings → Account → Delete account and follow the confirmation steps. The website option remains available if you cannot access the app.

What happens next

We will acknowledge the request, verify account ownership where necessary and process deletion within a reasonable period. Our target is 30 days unless a shorter period is required by law.
