1. About these terms
These terms form an agreement between you and Cornerstone Vision Services Ltd, company number 16155793, whose registered office is 111 New Union Street, Coventry, CV1 2NT, United Kingdom.
2. The service
Dropgaurd helps users record or identify certain charge-zone visits and create reminders to check or complete payments. Features, coverage and availability may change over time.
3. Your responsibility for charges
You remain solely responsible for determining whether a charge applies, checking the correct fee and deadline, using the correct vehicle registration, paying through an authorised channel and retaining evidence of payment. Information from an official operator takes priority over Dropgaurd.
Dropgaurd is not an airport operator, charging authority, enforcement authority, legal adviser or payment confirmation service. Unless expressly stated for a specific feature, Dropgaurd does not make payments on your behalf.
4. No guarantee against PCNs
We do not promise that use of Dropgaurd will prevent penalty charge notices, parking charge notices, fines or other enforcement action. Notifications may be delayed, blocked or missed due to device settings, connectivity, operating-system restrictions, inaccurate location signals, unsupported zones or incorrect information.
5. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
6. Permissions and device settings
Some features may require location, notification or background-processing permissions. You control these through the app and your device. Refusing or withdrawing a permission may limit functionality.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful content, reverse engineer restricted components except where law permits, or use Dropgaurd to mislead an operator or avoid a lawful charge.
8. Subscriptions and purchases
Paid features, if offered, may be purchased through Google Play or Apple. Prices, renewals, cancellation and refunds are subject to the relevant store terms and any information displayed at purchase. Removing the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.
9. Third-party services
Dropgaurd may link to official operators and other third parties. We do not control their services, availability, prices, rules, decisions or content. You should confirm you are using an authentic official payment page before entering payment details.
10. Intellectual property
Dropgaurd, its software, branding and website content belong to Cornerstone Vision Services Ltd or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms.
11. Service changes and availability
We may update, suspend or discontinue features for operational, security, legal or commercial reasons. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses caused by missed or inaccurate reminders, unsupported or changed charging rules, third-party systems, user error, device or network failures, or failure to check an official operator. We are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Consumer rights provided by law remain unaffected.
13. Termination and deletion
You may stop using Dropgaurd at any time and may request account deletion through the app or our account deletion page. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance or material breach of these terms.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections and courts in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
